🔒 Privacy-friendly by design: Your accident data never automatically leaves your smartphone.
🛡️ Privacy by Design: Third-party data is held exclusively for the active session and deleted when the app closes.
- →No automatic upload: Stored exclusively on your device.
- →GPS only when needed: Only for accident location or partner search. Not stored permanently.
- →QR-scanned data: Held in RAM during the active session, automatically deleted when app closes.
- →You are in control: Data is transferred only when you actively initiate sending.
- →No tracking: No analytics cookies, advertising tracking or cross-app tracking.
3. What Data We Collect
When visiting the website:
- →IP address, browser type, visit time · Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR · Retention: max. 7 days
When using the app:
- →GPS location (only during accident recording / partner search) – local only
- →Entered accident data (photos, text, sketches) – local only
- →QR-scanned third-party data – RAM only, auto-deleted on app close

§ 1 Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of the CrashLog app.
§ 2 Service Description
CrashLog provides tools for the digital documentation of road traffic accidents. The app does not constitute legal advice.
§ 3 User Responsibility
The user is solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data entered.
§ 4 Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for the continuous availability of the app or for damages arising from incorrect data entry or technical faults.
§ 5 Usage Rights
All rights to the app and its content remain with CrashLog. Commercial reproduction is prohibited.
§ 6 Jurisdiction
Austrian law applies. Place of jurisdiction: St. Pölten, Austria.
§ 7 Severability
Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
§ 8 Right to Amend
CrashLog reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
